          What People Are Saying …

When the word 'cancer' entered my life, it felt like the world stopped. The treatment journey—with its exhausting testing and waiting for results and the moments of deep uncertainty —left me feeling disconnected from myself and overwhelmed by fear. My spirit needed a lifeline, and I found it in the most unexpected place in a therapeutic art & meditation class.

I can honestly say that Marianne's program didn't just offer distraction; it provided a sanctuary, a safe space guided by a compassionate coach. I was invited to simply create. It didn't matter if I could draw a perfect line or mix the right color; the goal was expression, not perfection.

The blank paper became a silent, non-judgmental space for me to process emotions I couldn’t put into words. I could dump my catastrophic thinking into bold, furious lines. I carried the spirit of the work home & was able create the quiet hope of recovery.

I let go of perfectionism and found that by externalizing my fears & pain onto paper, pen & paint I could observe them rather than be consumed by them. The Art of Along side my medical treatment, The Art of Navigating Cancer was an essential part of my healing process.  It was where I learned to breathe again. It helped me navigate the darkness and find my way back to the light.

I am incredibly grateful for the healing power of art and highly recommend anyone facing a difficult cancer crisis to explore this transformative path with Marianne-
